A European first

The Channel.
Under sail.
Commercially.

SailLink is not a concept or a pilot project. It is a running service. Since 2025, Echoes, our sailing catamaran, has been carrying passengers between Dover Marina and Boulogne-sur-Mer, the first commercial sailing passenger service across the Channel in European maritime history.

Wind-propelled wherever the sea allows. Auxiliary engine when tides or conditions demand it, to keep crossings safe and timings dependable. No car deck. No terminal queue. 12 passengers at a time, loaded bikes welcome, the skipper on deck, the Channel ahead. This is what it looks like when someone decides to stop waiting for the future and build it.

Partnering with SailLink is not a sponsorship transaction. It is a decision to stand alongside something that matters, at the moment it is being built. The companies and individuals who join us now will have been part of this from the beginning.

32 km Dover to Boulogne under sailThe shortest international sailing crossing in Europe, made commercially viable for the first time.
4h30 Average crossing timeWind-propelled wherever the sea allows. Auxiliary engine when conditions require it. Crossings between 3h30 and 6h depending on the day.
2026 Second commercial seasonGrowing season by season. The companies who partner now are part of the founding chapter.
12 Passengers and bikes, maximumNot a ferry. A shared experience where every person on board is known by name before reaching the other side.

"Your brand does not need another banner. It needs a story that holds."

Partnering with SailLink places your organisation inside a lived experience, not a communications campaign. The people who sail with us do not forget it. The companies whose names are part of that moment earn something that advertising cannot buy: the memory of being present when it mattered.

01

Incarnate your values, do not announce them

Every company has a sustainability commitment. Very few can point to something physical and say: we helped build this. SailLink gives you that. A sailing ferry crossing the Channel is not a metaphor. It is an act.

02

A community, not an audience

SailLink attracts cyclists, adventurers, conscious travellers, people who choose how they move through the world. This is not a mass market. It is a community that notices which brands are genuinely present and which are not.

03

Your team on the water

A charter crossing for your team is the most direct form of partnership. 12 people, the Channel, 4h30 under sail. They return to the office different. That change, shared across an organisation, is worth more than any workshop. See our team building page.

04

Be part of a first

The companies that back SailLink now will always have been the founding partners of Europe's first commercial sailing passenger service across the Channel. That sentence does not expire. It grows in meaning over time.

05

Two countries, one story

SailLink operates in English and French, from Dover and from Boulogne. A partnership here is visible in both markets, to both communities, across both coastlines. The crossing is bilateral by nature.

06

Digital, physical, on the water

Visibility on the boat, on the hull, on the boom. Presence on the website, in the logbook, in content produced at sea. Partnership with SailLink can be physical, digital, or both. We discuss what works for your brand and build it together.

A different kind of partnership

Offer a crossing.
Make it mean something.

Some of the most powerful partnerships are not about brand placement. They are about what your company chooses to give. Fund a crossing for a school, an association, a community group, or a team that would never otherwise set foot on a sailing boat. Your brand is not on the hull. It is in the memory of every person who sails. Write to us and we will work out how to make it happen.

For your clients Offer a crossing to your best clients. Not a dinner. Not a gift box. A day at sea between two countries.
For a cause you believe in Fund a crossing for a school group, a youth organisation, or a community project. Documented, shared, remembered.
For your team Charter the boat for your team. 12 people, the Channel, 4h30 that changes how they work together. See our team building page.
For those who think long

Invest in
the vision.

SailLink is not looking for investors who want a quick return. It is looking for people who understand that the most important things take time, and that being early is not a risk but a privilege.

The vision is clear: a growing network of sailing passenger services connecting European port cities, proving that movement across open water can be made human again. The Channel is the beginning. What comes after is built on the proof that the first route works.

The investors who have already sailed with us understand this differently from those who have not. The boat is the pitch. If you believe in what you experience on the water, we have a conversation worth having.

Andrew Simons, Founder

"We have crossed this Channel dozens of times now. Every crossing is different. The wind shifts, the light changes, the passengers change. What does not change is the feeling on board, the sense that this is how it should have always been done. That conviction is what we are building on. The people who share it are the ones we want beside us."

2026 Partners

The companies
sailing with us.

Every partner featured here has chosen to stand alongside SailLink in 2026. They are not sponsors in the traditional sense. They are organisations that decided to act on their values, not just write about them. This vitrine grows as the season grows. The earlier you join, the longer your name has been here.

Hull Challengers
Hull Challenger Partner Büro für Mobilität Bern, Switzerland · An urban mobility consultancy that has been pushing sustainable transport for decades. They understand why two wheels across a sea strait is the logical next step.
Hull Challenger Partner Pas-de-Calais Tourisme Hauts-de-France · The regional tourism agency behind some of Europe's most beautiful cycling routes. SailLink passengers arrive into the Boulonnais, their territory.
Hull Challenger Partner Savvy Navvy UK · The navigation app. Charts, tides, weather and routing in one clean interface. Think Google Maps, but for the sea, and built by people who actually sail.
Hull Challenger Partner Port Boulogne Calais Boulogne-sur-Mer · The harbour that welcomes Echoes home. France's leading fishing port and one of Europe's busiest cross-Channel gateways, with a berth reserved for something rather different.
Hull Challenger Partner F2 ECO Europe · A typical leisure boat releases up to 2 kg of biocides into the water every year. F2 ECO removes that pollution at the source: a hull coating with zero biocides, zero PFAS, zero solvents, that lasts 5+ years with no annual repaint. The hull stays clean thanks to an ultra-smooth surface inspired by nature, not through poisons leaching into the sea. The most logical choice for a boat crossing the Channel on wind power.
Hull Challenger Partner Ship Coffee UK · Coffee and chocolate shipped across the Atlantic under sail, zero engine, zero compromise. They already list Echoes as one of their fleet. Wind-powered goods meet wind-powered passengers.
Cockpit Club
Cockpit Club Partner Café Proqua Boulogne-sur-Mer · Roasting coffee in the Boulonnais since 1951. Their coffee shop on the rue de Folkestone is now Accueil Vélo certified, because a good tea or coffee and a bike route belong together. Our official waiting point in 2026 !
Cockpit Club Partner Hôtel Restaurant Monsieur Georges Boulogne-sur-Mer · A character hotel with a kitchen to match just in front of the pontoon. The kind of place where arriving by sailing catamaran makes complete sense, style, food and a genuine Boulonnais welcome.
Cockpit Club Partner Cool K'cahuète Côte d'Opale · A nomadic gastronomic restaurant that moves between the cliffs, the ramparts and the sea. Local produce, no fixed address, panoramic views. Exactly the kind of place SailLink passengers should end up.
Cockpit Club Partner La Matelote Boulogne-sur-Mer · One of the finest restaurant-hotels on the Côte d'Opale. Founding SailLink partner since 2024, they backed us before the season even launched.
Cockpit Club Partner Office du Tourisme de Boulogne-sur-Mer Boulogne-sur-Mer · The city's official welcome desk, and the first stop for SailLink passengers who want to know what to do, eat and explore once they step off Echoes.
Scientific Partnership
Ifremer
Official Announcement · 17 April 2026

Ifremer comes

A scientific partnership with France's national institute for sea research. The Laboratoire Environnement Ressources in Boulogne-sur-Mer now uses Echoes' crossings to observe the Channel every day.

On every crossing, passengers and crew can collect real data: cetacean sightings with ORCA, marine pollution mapping with Eyesea, water quality testing with EarthEcho. No lab required. Just eyes on the Channel.
Official Ambassador · 2026 Cross-Channel Geopark 450,000 years ago a megaflood carved the Channel. SailLink sails across that scar every crossing. We are an official ambassador. UNESCO designation result expected spring 2027.
