Opposite the aquarium, directly on the harbour front. The Lestienne family's institution: a swimming pool, a spa, rooms with sea views, and one of the most respected fine-dining tables in northern France.
The first to say yes. La Matelote backed SailLink before the first commercial crossing had even sailed, and donated meals to our 2025 Christmas Challenge. Our founding supporter, and our home table in Boulogne.

Three things worth knowing before you book.
From pontoon to pillow
SailLink arrives on the Promenade du Quai Gambetta, the heart of Boulogne Marina. Monsieur Georges is 3 minutes on foot, Evancy 5 minutes, La Matelote 7 minutes along the seafront. No taxi, no shuttle. You step off the boat and walk into the city.
Bikes, panniers & kit
All Cockpit Club partners and Friends in this guide know SailLink and welcome cyclists with bikes and panniers. Mention your SailLink crossing at booking for advice on secure storage, drying rooms, and breakfast timing if you have an early start on the Vélomaritime.
When to book early
Book in advance for Saturday nights and any night before the Wednesday or Saturday market. Stay at Monsieur Georges, wake up 50 metres from the fish stalls, walk back for lunch.
