Jan cycled from Dover to Boulogne with two friends on a warm May bank holiday, then filmed the crossing and sent it to us. This is the Channel as our passengers see it.
A truly unique experience. We returned with our bikes from Boulogne to Dover on a beautiful Sunday. There was plenty of space for our bikes and sails went up as soon as we left the harbour. We sailed smoothly to Dover.
A game changer for cross-Channel travel. Great care was taken to look after my seven-year-old son, letting him steer and keeping him warm. The crew delivered all the excitement of a huge adventure with the comforts of home and a human touch.
Slow boat to Boulogne, but all the better for it. Simple logistics - passport check took 5 minutes! It is certainly slow travel, but is either very relaxing if you do nothing or great fun to help with some of the sailing. I will definitely go again.
